Roger Bracken Appointed Chairman of Leading UK Fintech,  CreatePay

London, UK  – 1st October 2025 — CreatePay, one of the UK’s fastest-growing fintech enabled card acceptance providers, today announces the appointment of Roger Bracken as Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Board.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for CreatePay following an exceptional first two years in business. CreatePay has rapidly become the top-performer amongst its competitors serving over 10,000 merchants and is now acquiring 1000 new clients every month. The company will have 150 staff by January 2026 and has been investing and developing its own technology stack culminating in the launch of its ‘CreatePay One’ product solution. Already its merchant customers can see their transactions real-time through the merchant app on their smartphones. CreatePay have built a central hub which provides a single version of the truth for every activity, client interaction and transaction that happens across their sales, service operation, and across the merchant base.

Roger Bracken brings a wealth of leadership, strategy and boardroom experience in payments and financial services, serving on the board of Caxton Payments today and previously as Chairman of AIBMS. He has held senior roles at global payments technology leaders including NCR, First Data, and TSG.

At NCR, Roger led the UK banking division and served in a European services leadership role. Following an MBA from London Business School, he joined First Data as UK Country Manager and advanced to lead its European business, overseeing 5,000 employees and managing $1.2 billion in revenue and $350 million in EBITDA. More recently, he served as European CEO at TSG, a New Zealand-based embedded payments software company.  He played a key role in its scaling and growth, and ultimately its sale to private equity in 2019 for US$850 million.

Roger also brings deep governance experience. He chaired the Board of AIB Merchant Services for five years and has held Approved Person status with both the Central Bank of Ireland and the FCA.

Currently, Roger has a portfolio career advising fintechs and investors. He is Chairman and CEO of TFPA, a consultancy focused on helping fintech scale-ups accelerate revenue, enter new markets, and optimise their go-to-market strategies. He also sits on the board of Caxton Payments and advises leading growth equity firm Vitruvian Partners.
